Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day activities and communications within the department.
• Trains and develops departmental team and leads employees in Continuous Improvement Programs.
• Responsible for the training and development of all new hires and temporary employees.
• Supervises work output and effectiveness for team members.
• Ensures accurate training of employees in proper job performance and expectations.
• Partners with cross-functional teams; coordinates with Production Operations and Quality Control to meet throughput and quality standards.
• Documents progress of new employees and assists the Assembly Production Manager in 90-day evaluations.
• Observes progress and performance of all operators, material handlers, and printer packers to support evaluations.
• Tracks and posts daily departmental metrics as established by Plant Management.
• Ensures inventory of departmental PPE is adequate for regular production.
• Assists with other duties and projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
