RESRG Automotive is seeking a Paint Line Load & Unload Operator in Newbern, TN to ensure parts move efficiently through the paint process while upholding strict quality and safety standards. You will load automotive components onto paint line racks, unload finished parts, inspect for defects, verify identification, and document production activity.

In this role you will monitor line flow, communicate issues to supervisors, maintain a clean work area, and support continuous improvement in safety,

Paint Line Load & Unload Operator

At RESRG Automotive, every part matters. As a Paint Line Load & Unload Operator, you play a critical role in ensuring parts move efficiently through the paint process while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Purpose

The Paint Line Load & Unload Operator is responsible for loading automotive components onto the paint line and unloading finished parts while ensuring quality standards, production requirements, and safety procedures are consistently met.

What You Will Do in This Role
  • Load automotive parts onto paint line racks according to established work instructions.
  • Unload painted parts from the paint line and inspect for obvious defects or damage.
  • Verify parts are properly identified and processed according to customer specifications.
  • Monitor production flow to ensure continuous operation of the paint line.
  • Communicate quality or equipment concerns to supervisors and team leaders.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Support production goals by meeting established productivity and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements involving hands, arms, shoulders, and upper body.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and work above shoulder level.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and around production equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Available to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Safely load parts onto paint line carriers or racks to ensure proper paint coverage.
  • Remove finished parts from the paint line and place them in designated containers or racks.
  • Inspect parts for visible defects, contamination, scratches, or paint issues.
  • Report quality concerns, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately.
  • Follow all plant policies, safety procedures, and work instructions.
  • Utilize 5S principles to maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Assist with training new team members when assigned.
  • Maintain attendance and dependability standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Previous paint line, assembly, production, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience is a plus (if applicable).
  • Experience is always valuable, and equivalent combinations of experience and training will be considered.
