Position Title: Paint Line Worker

Wage: $17/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5am - 3:30pm

Job Overview

QPS has a contract to hire Paint Line Production position in the Kansas City, Kansas location. Candidates must have previous industrial painting experience in the warehouse field. Please contact our office for more information about this career opportunity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Use hand and power tools (impact gun) to remove and reinstall valves on tanks.
2. Complete paperwork for each tank.
3. Use stamping tools when necessary.
4. Clean, sand, and prepare oxygen cylinders for painting, ensuring surfaces are free of rust, grease, and contaminants.
5. Apply primer and topcoats using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, following safety guidelines and industry standards.
6. Inspect finished products for coating thickness and appearance, making adjustments as needed.
7. Maintain and clean painting equipment, including spray guns and hoses.
8. Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including the use of PPE.
9. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines.
10. Assist in tracking and managing paint supplies and materials.

Requirements

1. Must speak, read, and write fluent English due to extensive paperwork.
2. Must have a driver’s license and own vehicle.
3. Knowledge of hand and power tools.
4. Previous experience working in a paint department.
