POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Fitter Finisher (On-call) works within the Halls Alterations department, renowned for tailoring men's and women's clothing and supporting Visual Merchandising, Store Operations, and other departments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Performing alterations such as hand and machine work, shoulder, hem, collar, and sleeve adjustments, resizing garments, and repairing merchandise.
2. Analyzing garments to determine necessary alterations, reconstructing as needed, working with delicate fabrics, and pricing work accordingly.
3. Managing daily appointments to ensure garments are ready for customers on time.
4. Collaborating with team members on fitting, construction, and fabric queries.
5. Remaining available for unscheduled fittings during the day.
6. Performing other duties as assigned.

This role requires walking within the department/store, bending, minimal lifting, and operating tools like pressers, sewing machines, steam cabinets, scissors, and other tailoring equipment.

• Flexibility required for business needs, including weekends and holidays.
• No relocation assistance provided.
