Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc. is hiring a Paint Line Person for 1st Shift in Salina, KS. The role supports a Kubota Construction Equipment paint line and runs Monday–Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed.

Responsibilities include loading lines, prepping parts, ensuring correct part identification, unloading, inspecting for defects, and packing for delivery while complying with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous paint experience helpful, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Some forklift experience helpful, but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load paint lines safely to maximum capacity per the Daily Production Requirements list.
• Learn all aspects of prepping unfinished parts for final topcoat.
• Download painted parts safely and ensure correct part identification and delivery to correct location to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Inspect painted parts at the unload station for any quality defects.
• Appropriately pack painted parts to ensure arrival to customer in good condition.
• Adapt to all paint line duties, including Load, Prep, Unload, Material Handling & Painting.
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
