You will prepare parts for painting, apply primers and coatings, and ensure quality through inspections. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to blueprints and specifications.

Applicants should have 3+ years in a production paint environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate basic production equipment. OT Fridays may be available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a custom or production paint environment preferred.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with productivity and quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and equipment for painting using surface preparation methods.
• Apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray systems.
• Read blueprints, BOMs, routings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Perform touch-ups, detailing, and final inspections before shipment.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and material-handling equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to complete painting tasks safely.
• Maintain productivity, quality standards, and organized work areas through daily 5S.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and comply with safety and quality requirements.
