Job summary

IES in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Paint Helper to join the Paint Dept. The role supports operations in the paint booth, assists with masking, and helps with metal finishing tasks.

You will report to the Paint Lead/ Production Supervisor and work the 1st or 2nd shift. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years in a production environment; PPE, GHS, and LOTO training are offered onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in a production environment.
• PPE, GHS, and LOTO training provided.
• Onsite training available for PPE and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Know all operations and safety procedures of the paint booth.

• Personal Protection Equipment Training (PPE), Global Harmonization System Training (GHS), Lock Out- Tag Out Training, (LOTO)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently
