Job summary

IES is seeking a Maintenance professional in Canton, OH to evaluate machines and building systems, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with vendors for maintenance needs. The role includes budgeting, safety compliance, and maintaining a clean, safe environment on site.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least five years in a manufacturing setting; knowledge of lock-out-tag-out and machine guarding is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Lock-out-tag-out, machine guarding, and other safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate machines and building systems to determine required maintenance
• Conduct preventative maintenance
• Correspond with vendors to schedule maintenance needs
• Assist with departmental maintenance needs to coordinate schedules and budget
• Monitor and report on project progress
• Attend production meetings to coordinate scheduling and notify other departments of maintenance issues/timelines
• Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
• Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Oversee disposal of chemical waste; choose supplier, schedule, maintain safety standards
• Maintain building security
• On site First Responder - Assist in emergency and clean up
