Job summary

IES Infrastructure is seeking a Field Service Technician to support on-site field visits in Canton, OH. You will troubleshoot equipment, install and maintain systems, and produce detailed service reports while fostering strong customer relationships.

Proficiency reading blueprints and CAD drawings is preferred, with travel as needed. Onsite training and PPE/LOTO credentials are available. The company offers competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and support during field visits
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Interface with the Engineering Dept. to diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Understand customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations and briefings
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Comprehend installation and maintenance manual
• Understand shipping bills of materials packing and marking methods
• Complete purchase requisitions and submit internal requisitions
• Provide quotes to customers for replacement parts
