Job summary

PowerTec Distribution & Motor Control Corporation in Arizona is seeking an experienced Paint Supervisor to lead the Paint Department and supervise Painter I–III. You will ensure adherence to blueprints, coatings specs, and safety procedures while maintaining productivity and quality.

Responsibilities include assigning tasks, training painters, conducting performance reviews, and coordinating with management to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Must be able to inspire and motivate team to achieve goals and customer expectations.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing to address varying situations and audiences.
• Knowledge of how own emotions affect the team.
• Must be able to recognize when to involve management.
• Ability to apply MSHA and OSHA standards.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to comprehend and follow directions.
• Experience working with hand tools.
• Experience with sanding, forklift, sandblasting, and powder coating operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Paint Department to keep productivity and morale high.
• Train and develop painters; provide timely performance reviews.
• Assign tasks according to project needs and capabilities.
• Ensure safety documentation is completed and department is clean.
• Coordinate with management to address conflicts and customer expectations.
