Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a 2nd shift team member in Gaffney, SC to support our paint department. You will safely handle hazardous materials, follow LOTO procedures, operate exhaust systems, and keep the booth and surrounding areas clean.

You will also assist with material handling and preparing for the next day’s production schedule. The job offers a base pay of $16.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift, with weekly pay and day-1 benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others in a teambased environment.

• Dependable with the ability to follow schedules and daily work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with regulations.
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Turn exhaust fans on and off as required.
• Install and clean paint booth filters.
• Maintain cleanliness of the paint department and surrounding areas.
• Pull products for the next day's production schedule.
• Comply with environmental, health, safety, and OSHA programs.
