Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Store #1776 in Benton Harbor, MI is seeking a delivery associate to serve wholesale and retail customers, help customers find the right products, and deliver orders safely from store to destination.

You will load and unload items, tint and mix per customer specs, and maintain the vehicle and routes. A valid driver’s license is required; lifting up to 70 lbs and occasional evenings/weekends are expected. Internal candidates must meet performance and HR Cloud training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: must have a 'meets expectations' rating.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and per policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, yearly.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Load, transport, and deliver items safely and timely.
• Assist with loading/unloading items from vehicles.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repairs.
• Adhere to routes and time schedules.
• Comply with laws and safety procedures when driving.
• Prepare reports and related delivery documents.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
