Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Florida is seeking a Delivery Driver who works with wholesale and retail customers to determine needs, answer questions about products, and deliver paint and related items safely and on time using company vehicles. You will load, tint and mix products as needed, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, following routes, staying compliant with safety and traffic laws, and providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and handle stock from shelves.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must meet performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repairs when needed.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Comply with laws, traffic regulations, and safety procedures when driving.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, or forklifts.
