Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to serve wholesale and retail customers. You will deliver products from Sherwin-Williams stores using company vans or trucks, ensure timely, safe deliveries, and assist customers with product selection and service.

Responsibilities include handling cash and paperwork, maintaining vehicle, and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly delivery goals while adhering to all laws and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail settings.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in more than one language (Spanish a plus).
• Strong ability to follow safety procedures and load/deliver items.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
• Comply with all laws, traffic regulations, safety procedures, etc., when driving a vehicle
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
