Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a reliable driver to deliver products from Sherwin-Williams stores using company vans or pickup trucks. You will load, transport, and deliver orders with attention to safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

The role may involve interaction with customers, including minors, and requires adherence to routes and schedules. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.

Qualifications

• Must be able to deliver to customers and provide good service.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• May require minor background screening due to handling cash and sensitive data.
• Experience with material handling equipment is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner
• Load customer orders properly on the truck
• Ensure appropriate forms are completed
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers
• Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders and waiting on customers
