Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Chattanooga, TN. The role involves delivering products, receiving and preparing orders, loading/unloading, and assisting customers both in person and by phone.

The position requires operating warehouse equipment and color retrieval/paint mixing machines as needed, with a focus on safety and inventory control. The branch hours are Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with hours determined by business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Load and unload products from deliveries.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Process sales transactions at the POS.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and optimize space utilization.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures and regulations.
• Ensure stockroom is organized.
• Operate color retrieval and paint mixing equipment as needed.
• Support inventory control and participate in physical inventory.
