Western Carolina University seeks a supervisor to manage a student paint crew at the Cullowhee campus. The role involves recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising 10–30 student painters, with a focus on safety and quality compliance.
Payroll duties and weekly reporting to the Assistant Director for Facilities are required. Applicants must understand commercial painting practices, materials, and safety, and be able to communicate effectively with staff and students.
The primary location of this position is on-site at the main Cullowhee, NC campus.

This position will be responsible for, but not limited
to the following:
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must possess knowledge of commercial painting procedures and practices. Must possess knowledge of commercial painting materials and applications, including latex, oil paint products, and grout products. Must be able to climb ladders, stairs and physically move paint supplies and furnishings as needed to complete assigned work orders. Must have the ability to follow direction, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.
