Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc is hiring a Retail Store Sales Associate for the day shift. You will greet customers, assist with paint needs, and help them select products to complete their projects. The role includes mixing, tinting, upselling, and handling payments at the POS.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday 6am–6pm, Saturday 8am–12pm, with Sundays off. Must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 80 pounds. Weekly pay and full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail environments is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to store needs.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess needs, providing solutions.
• Mix, tint and match paint to customer requests.
• Upsell additional products such as brushes and tape.
• Keep the store clean and stocked with paint and related products.
• Process orders and payments in person, over the phone, online, and via email.
• Use POS to receive payments and complete cashouts.
• Report to Store Manager.
