Job summary

The Center for Pain in Montgomery, AL is seeking a skilled Procedure Room Technician to join our clinical team. You will help prepare patients, assist during pain management procedures, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining a sterile environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, BLS certification, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in a medical or healthcare setting a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for pain management procedures and explain the process.
• Assist during procedures including epidural injections, nerve blocks, and spinal cord stimulator trials.
• Set up and maintain procedure room equipment.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs during procedures.
• Document patient information and procedure details.
• Maintain sterile environment and infection control standards.
• Provide post-procedure patient education and home-care instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations.
• Stay updated on advances in pain management procedures.
