The Center for Pain is seeking a Procedure Room Technician to join our caring team. You will prepare patients, assist during pain management procedures, and ensure a clean, well-equipped procedure room.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and strong communication skills; ACLS is preferred. The role offers health insurance benefits and a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to handle patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
• Proficiency with MS Office and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for pain management procedures and explain the process.
• Assist healthcare providers during procedures (epidural injections, nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulator trials).
• Set up and maintain equipment for procedures and ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to distress or complications.
• Document patient information, procedure details, and observations.
• Maintain sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Provide post-procedure education and home-care instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure seamless care.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety standards and participate in continuing education.
