Job summary

The Center for Pain is seeking a Procedure Room Technician to join our team. You will prepare patients for pain management procedures, assist providers during epidural injections, nerve blocks, and spinal cord stimulator trials, and ensure equipment is ready.

This role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and EHRs. BLS is required; ACLS preferred. We offer health insurance and a supportive, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare experience a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy.
• Proficient in MS Office and electronic health records.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move equipment.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient preparation for pain management procedures.
• Assist during procedures including epidural injections, nerve blocks, and spinal cord stimulator trials.
• Set up and maintain procedure room equipment.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to distress.
• Accurate documentation of patient information and observations.
• Sterilization and infection control.
• Provide post-procedure patient education.
• Collaborate with healthcare team.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety standards.
• Continuing education to stay updated.
