Job summary

Compass Palliative Care, a California-based palliative care provider, seeks outstanding Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with palliative and pain-management experience. Our practice serves California patients in ALF/SNF settings in the Tehachapi area.

We offer FLEXIBLE DAYS and HOURS and a patient-centered approach led by board-certified physicians, with training and in-service education to advance staff and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an NP or PA in California.
• Must have an active DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients in an ALF/SNF environment.
• Provide palliative and pain management to treat the patient.
• Perform pain management procedures as needed.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Prescribe and refill medications.
• Educate patients and families and manage care.
• Note findings and treatment course in patient charts, including follow-up notes.
• Participate in departmental activities to improve training and achieve company goals.

Our practice provides palliative andpainmanagement appointments for California-based patients. Our practice provides palliative andpainmanagement services in the ALF and SNF settings in the Tehachapi area.

The practitioner will be assigned a specific patientloadfor which they will be responsible. Our program is run by experienced and board-certified physicians who take pride in providing training and in-service education to their staff. They believe in the advancement of their staff as well as creating the best possible outcomes for the patients they serve.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assess patients in an ALF/SNF environment
• Provide palliative andpainmanagement to treat the patient best
