Job summary

Compass Palliative Care in Deming, NM is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with experience in palliative and pain management. The role involves managing palliative care in ALF/SNF settings and traveling to patients in the Deming area.

You will conduct assessments, prescribe medications, educate patients and families, document care, and collaborate with board-certified physicians. Must hold NM NP/PA license and an active DEA license; contract basis with flexible days and hours.

Our practice provides palliative and pain management appointments for California-based patients. Our practice provides palliative and pain management services in the ALF and SNF settings in the Deming area.

The practitioner will be assigned a specific patient load for which they will be responsible. Responsibilities

• Assess patients in an ALF/SNF environment
• Provide palliative and pain management to treat the patient best
• Perform pain management procedures as needed

• Patient and family education and management
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient charts, including follow-up notes
• Actively participate in departmental activities to improve training methods and achieve company goals

Requirements
