Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CPR-BLS certification is required by the American Heart Association.
• MA level (MA I/II/III/IV) depends on organization, with years of experience guiding placement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Room patients for intake, record vitals, histories, and document in the EHR.
• Process prescription refills, prior authorizations, and provider orders.
• Perform phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and screening tests as approved.
• Review discharge instructions and coordinate referrals and follow-ups.
