Advocate Health, located in the Greater Charlotte area, is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Pain Management unit. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm. A sign-on bonus is available based on eligibility. The position pays $22.90–$34.35 per hour.

Responsibilities include clinical tasks, specimen handling, vaccinations, patient education, and coordinating care with the healthcare team. Requires MA training and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Aufgaben

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and policies.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks: vital signs, medication reconciliation, history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered.
• Performs lab duties: venipuncture, specimen labeling, POCT.
• Administers medications and vaccines following rights of med administration.
• Handles refills, authorizations, messaging, and referrals as needed.
• Maintains clean, stocked work areas and appropriate equipment.
• Supports onboarding of teammates and may serve on a committee.
