Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program and hold BLS.
• Current MA certification(s) such as CMA/CCMA/NCMA/RMA are required or preferred.
• Ability to perform routine and some advanced clinical tasks within scope.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vitals and documenting health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures with aseptic technique and infection control.
• Assist clinicians with exams and procedures as needed.
• Administer routine medications under orders or standing protocols.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate changes to patients and team.
• Support clinic flow with timely information and patient communication.
