Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK, seeks a Day Shift, full-time Pain Management Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a clinic-based environment.

The role involves EMR data entry, patient greeting and vital signs, instrument sterilization, inventory management, and facilitating referrals and authorizations. A high school diploma and BLS certification are required, with an Associate degree or CMA/RMA preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS Certification required within 14 days of start.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree.
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/program or 3 years MA experience.
• Current CMA or RMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enters, maintains, and reports medical history and files claims using an EMR.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room; take vital signs and other applicable medical information.
• Sterilizes and prepares instruments; keeps exam rooms disinfected, orderly, and safe.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and stocking supplies for all exam rooms.
• Process referrals and insurance authorizations; coordinate with pharmacies, hospitals, and labs.
