Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (Certified or Registered).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to physicians with patient assessments, examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain clinical areas, equipment and supplies for safe, clean patient care.
• Document patient care activities and test results accurately in the chart.
• Perform specimen collection, injections, basic testing (EKGs, CLIA-waived), and medication support under supervision.
• Coordinate triage calls and support scheduling, prescriptions, and authorizations.
