Job summary

Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for the Falcon Health Center on a per diem basis. You will provide clinical and administrative support under physician and office leadership.

Responsibilities include triaging patients, assisting with exams, collecting specimens, maintaining records, and contributing to patient safety and comfort while upholding organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Certified MA or Registered MA.
• BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within scope of practice and assist with exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections, venipuncture and respond to emergencies.
• Perform diagnostic testing and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and communications.
• Coordinate patient care with care partners for treatment and scheduling.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment and supplies; ensure regulatory compliance.
