Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, KY, seeks a Medical Assistant for Falcon Health Center on a per diem basis. The MA will provide clinical and administrative support under physician and office leadership, delivering patient care per nursing standards.

Essential functions include triage, exams, injections, venipunctures, documentation, and coordination of care with team partners. Per diems may require variable hours and shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification as MA (CMA/RMA) or registered MA required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients, assist with exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections; perform venipunctures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and communications.
• Coordinate patient care with care partners for scheduling and return-to-work.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support a culture of safety and quality improvement.
• Work hours per week as outlined in the offer letter; longer hours may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
