The YMCA Workforce Development Program, hosted by the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne, is a paid internship designed to help high school students explore career pathways, gain financial independence, and grow personally and professionally. It supports preparing for college or entering the workforce by offering practical experiences and guidance.

Participants rotate through three tracks—Health and Wellness, Youth Development, and Member Experience—plus mentorship, networking, and access to YMCA

Qualifications

• Be a current high school junior or senior with a minimum GPA of 2.0
• Be eligible to work in the United States and provide proper documentation
• Be able to complete a minimum of 250 program hours during the cohort
