Job summary

The State University of New York is seeking student assistants to join the SUNY Digital Engagement web management team as web content developers and editors in Albany, NY. The roles are part-time, paid student positions with flexible hours and a campus enrollment requirement.

You'll help create accessible, optimized web content, track performance, and collaborate with all 64 SUNY campuses to showcase SUNY's students, faculty, staff and alumni while supporting open, transparent communication

Qualifications

• Knowledge of web development trends and software.
• HTML, CSS, Javascript knowledge; familiarity with Wordpress or TerminalFour CMS a plus.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Video and audio editing capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit accessible and optimized web content for SUNY websites.
• Develop meaningful performance reports on SUNY web properties.
• Collaborate with all SUNY campuses to develop content about students, faculty, staff and alumni.
• Engage in open and transparent conversations relating to SUNY or higher education.
