Teach For America offers a full-time, paid two-year teaching opportunity in under-resourced public schools across the United States. Corps members gain hands-on experience, leadership skills, and a pathway to teaching certification while earning a salary and benefits.

Start Date: Late Spring 2027. Candidates from all majors are encouraged; strong leadership potential and follow-through are key. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and be a U.S. citizen, national, or eligible resident.

Qualifications

• 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Bachelor's degree (in any field of study).
• Must be a citizen, national, or legal resident of the United States, EAD holder, or have DACA status.

Responsibilities

• Teach two years full-time in an under-resourced public school.
• Build genuine relationships with students and families - not just lesson plans.
• Learn to navigate the barriers kids face inside and outside the classroom.
• Sharpen your communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through daily classroom leadership.
• Work alongside your school community to remove obstacles and open doors for students who need it most.
