Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an engineering or related science degree program in an accredited college or university accepted by TX PELS.
• Entry-level engineering support work involving inspection, data collection, drafting, and basic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transportation engineering support work across construction, maintenance inspection, lab work, surveying, and data collection.
• Develop spreadsheets, databases, and documents; perform routine data gathering and statistical tasks.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure conformance with plans and specs.
• Perform data entry and basic computer-aided analysis; support survey and traffic data collection.
