Job summary

Actalent is offering a summer sales internship in Wichita, KS, spanning 10 weeks of hands-on experience in business development and client engagement. The program provides training, mentorship, and exposure to the recruiting lifecycle within Allegis Group’s Actalent team.

Interns will perform outbound prospecting, candidate sourcing support, and participation in daily learning sessions, with a capstone project presentation at the end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising Senior.
• Pursuing a sales degree, major or certification or member of a sales program on campus is preferred
• Prior customer service, campus leadership, or sales experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential clients.
• Support account executives with lead research, market mapping, and target list development.
• Learn to make sales calls, craft outreach messages, and nurture early-stage client relationships.
• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and client materials.
• Participate in sales meetings, deal strategy sessions, and pipeline reviews.
• Shadow sales professionals on client calls or visits to understand the full sales cycle.
• Track activity metrics and provide weekly progress updates on outreach and lead generation efforts.
