Job summary

Milliken & Company invites applications for an Intern - Manufacturing to gain hands-on experience in Process Improvement. The role supports real business priorities, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and builds foundational skills in problem solving, communication, and teamwork.

This full-time, 40-hour weekly internship runs 11–12 weeks in summer 2027 at the Live Oak location. Participants will contribute to meaningful projects, manage manufacturing-related initiatives, and showcase

Qualifications

Candidates with or working toward a BS.
Strong user of Microsoft Office suite of products, with advanced Excel skills.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Working towards a BS degree.
Able to participate in the Intern Leadership Forum in Spartanburg, SC.
Able to participate in the final presentation review in August in Spartanburg, SC.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day activities and key projects within the Process Improvement.
Manage a manufacturing related project for results.
Demonstrate creative thinking by identifying unique approaches to problem solving.
Communicate effectively one-to-one and one-to-a-group.
Work effectively with a diverse group of people to implement project improvements.
