Job summary

Milliken & Company is seeking a hands-on engineering intern for the summer of 2027 at the Magnolia location in South Carolina. You will support day-to-day activities within the engineering and manufacturing environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop foundational skills in problem solving, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Candidates with or working toward a BS Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial engineering major.
Strong user of Microsoft Office suite of products, with advanced Excel skills.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Prior internship, project, or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day activities and key projects within the engineering and manufacturing environment.
Conduct research, analysis, or data review to support business decisions
Assist in developing reports, presentations, or process documentation
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organization
Identify opportunities for process improvement or efficiency gains
Present project findings, recommendations, or results
