Job summary

Milliken & Company is seeking a hands-on engineering intern for the summer of 2027 at the Magnolia location in South Carolina. You will support day-to-day activities within the engineering and manufacturing environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop foundational skills in problem solving, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Candidates with or working toward a BS Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial engineering major.
• Strong user of Microsoft Office suite of products, with advanced Excel skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Prior internship, project, or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day activities and key projects within the engineering and manufacturing environment.
• Conduct research, analysis, or data review to support business decisions
• Assist in developing reports, presentations, or process documentation
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organization
• Identify opportunities for process improvement or efficiency gains
• Present project findings, recommendations, or results
