Job summary

Austin Industrial invites applicants to join its 2027 Summer Internship Program across Construction, Maintenance, Estimating, Project Controls, Accounting, and other departments. Interns work on a defined project while learning operations and processes, collaborating with departmental teams, and gaining hands-on experience.

The program is paid and spans 12 weeks. The internship starts May 17, 2027 and runs through August 6, 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be an active Junior or Senior college student pursuing a degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, Accounting, etc.
• Must possess a 3.0 GPA or higher and be able to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in an assigned project within a department (Construction, Maintenance, Estimating, Project Controls, Accounting, etc.).
• Perform analytical reviews and suggest ideas to improve business functions.
• Participate in daily activities to learn different aspects of the business environment.
• Contribute to a final project that combines classroom knowledge with real-world application.
