Job summary

Austin Industrial is offering a 12-week paid Summer Internship Program across multiple corporate office departments including Construction, Maintenance, Estimating, Project Controls and Accounting. Interns will work on a project while learning our operations and processes, with exposure to many facets of the company and related social events with fellow employee-owners.

The internship starts May 17, 2027 and ends August 6, 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be an active Junior or Senior college student pursuing a degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, Accounting, or related fields.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and be able to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in departments across Construction, Maintenance, Estimating, Project Controls, Accounting, and more.
• Perform analytical reviews and propose ideas to improve business functions.
• Participate in daily activities and learn different aspects of a business environment.
• Contribute to a final project integrating classroom knowledge with real-world application.
• Support management with additional tasks as assigned.
