Job summary

Stfrancis in Missouri is seeking an accounting-oriented intern to support AP/AR processing, reconcile client issues, and prepare journal entries. You will assist with financial statements, audits, and coordinating mail and office supplies while providing professional customer service to Client Accounting and Property Management teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (juniors and seniors preferred).
• Prior accounts payable/receivable experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Review, reconcile, and resolve client issues.
• Analyze, prepare, and post journal entries.
• Prepare financial statements; reconcile and review for accuracy and audit compliance.
• Sort and distribute mail and inter-office information to employees.
• Assist with replenishing office supplies by monitoring inventory levels.
• Cover front desk position when Office Coordinator is out of office or on break.
• Monitor and restock office supplies.
• Assist management with special projects as needed.
• Provide professional, responsive customer service to Client Accounting and Property Management requests.
• Perform other related duties as required or requested.
