Job summary

Excellus Health Plan Inc. offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program in New York, running from June to August with up to 40 hours per week.

Interns may work in technical or non-technical tracks, receive mentorship, attend development workshops, and contribute to meaningful projects across multiple divisions. Housing is not provided, and remote work may be available case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to interact with staff at all levels.
• High School diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment.
• Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program and in good academic standing.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the LAMA Team and gain insight into MedAmerica and LBS operations.
• Conduct regulatory research, prepare state filings, and maintain corporate records.
• Collaborate with mentors on key strategic projects and deliver presentations at internship end.
• Perform a mix of technical and non-technical tasks and communicate results clearly.
