Job summary

Excellus Health Plan Inc. is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program designed for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns participate in development workshops, work on meaningful healthcare analytics projects, and are mentored by managers.

Tracks include Business Administration, IT, Analytics & Data, and more, with a 40-hour work week during summer. Housing is not provided; interns gain hands-on experience with healthcare data, contribute to data-driven decisions, and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health or related fields.
• Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, SAS and similar).
• Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation; familiarity with BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Extract, validate, and analyze healthcare data such as claims and enrollment.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for leadership.
• Maintain data quality and document methodologies and definitions.
