Job summary

SCS Engineers invites an undergraduate or graduate civil or environmental engineering student for a summer 2027 internship at our Houston, TX office. The role offers hands-on experience across site development, soil mechanics, and environmental projects with a 40-hour workweek.

Intern tasks include report prep, drafting, site observations, material sampling, and data management. Housing is not provided, and US work authorization is required. The program runs May/June to August/September 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in civil or environmental engineering, graduating by June 2029.
• Preferred graduating by June 2028.
• Must be willing to live in the Houston area for Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Report and calculation preparation.
• CAD drafting.
• Construction observation and documentation.
• Environmental and construction materials sample collection.
• Laboratory data management and review.
