Job summary

SCS Engineers is seeking a Summer 2027 intern for our Overland Park, KS office. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in both engineering and business operations through diverse client projects while giving you the chance to explore the beginnings of your own career path.

You will work with experienced professionals on tasks including construction observation, environmental sampling, CAD drafting, data management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in civil, environmental, geological, or biological systems engineering and graduating by June 2029 required.
• Must be willing to live in the Overland Park area for Summer 2027 (housing allowance will not be provided).
• Solid technical and computer skills (AutoCAD experience a plus).
• Ability to travel overnight for work outside of an office setting may be required.
