Qualifications

• Must have at least 75% of a bachelor's degree in accounting completed.
• Must demonstrate progress towards CPA exam eligibility.
• Strong communication and computer skills; team players who can work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interns must be customer-focused and able to multitask.
• Willing to travel locally to clients 80%+ and have access to a car/public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients and employees.
• Assist clients with routine accounting functions.
• Adhere to Firm policies and procedures as a professional team member.
• Draft financial statements under prescribed format.
• Prepare portions of compilation, review and audit engagements.
• Develop working knowledge of microcomputer applications.
• Understand accounting pronouncements and basic income tax.
