Job summary

PKF O'Connor Davies invites students to join its Summer Audit Internship Program, working with an industry team on diverse engagements. Interns gain real-world audit experience and present a market research project to Firm leadership.

From day one, interns are immersed in PKF O'Connor Davies culture with an Intern Adviser, training, and opportunities to network at Firm events. The program runs for eight weeks, starting mid-June and ending early August.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 75% of a bachelor's degree in accounting completed.
• Must demonstrate progress towards CPA exam eligibility.
• Strong communication and computer skills; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to travel locally to clients 80%+ of the time and have access to a car/public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients and employees.
• Assist clients with routine accounting functions.
• Adhere to firm policies and procedures as a professional team member.
• Draft financial statements under prescribed format.
• Prepare portions of compilation, review and audit engagements.
• Grow working knowledge of microcomputer applications and accounting pronouncements.
