Protective Life in Birmingham, AL, invites applications for a Meeting & Events Summer 2027 Intern to learn corporate event planning, coordinate meetings, and support on-site execution alongside professionals across the organization.

This internship runs May 31 to July 30, 2027 at the Corporate Office in Birmingham. You will gain hands-on experience in sourcing, budgeting, food and beverage coordination, vendor relations, and attendee management while developing professional skills.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student as of May 31, 2027.
• Majors include Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
• Interest in corporate event planning and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and execution of corporate meetings and events.
• Support sourcing, contract negotiations, budgeting, food & beverage coordination, and onsite event management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors while maintaining professional relationships.
• Gain hands-on experience using event planning software and business systems.
