• Pursuing a degree in psychology, sociology, anthropology, marketing, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for community service and helping families achieve self-sufficiency.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake interviews and client assessments.
• Support case managers in developing and tracking individualized service plans.
• Help coordinate referrals to community partners and services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Update client's hard copy files and file away.
• Assist in planning and facilitating workshops, events, and resource fairs.
• Conduct follow-up calls and check-ins with clients.
• Support data entry and reporting for program outcomes.
• Identify resources for housing, employment, or childcare.
• Provide general administrative support including phones and day-to-day tasks.
• Complete the volunteer intake and required training for The Methodist Home for Children & Youth.
