Atrium Health is offering a Social Impact & Community Relations Intern position designed for students who want to build relationships with local communities and support CSR initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, event planning, and impact reporting.

As an intern, you'll plan outreach, assist nonprofits and schools, track social impact metrics, and help with internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events
• Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations
• Help track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes
• Contribute to internal and external communications related to select initiatives
• Conduct research on social issues, community needs, and best practices
• Assist with grant applications, sponsorship requests, and donation tracking
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new initiatives
• Gain experience in community engagement and CSR strategy
• Develop skills in event planning, stakeholder communication, and impact reporting
• Understand the role of businesses in driving social change
• Build professional relationships and receive mentorship from experienced leaders
• Contribute to initiatives that make a real difference in the community
