This 12-week, paid internship provides real life sales experience, hands-on exposure to transportation and logistics, and 1:1 mentorship to help you grow in a future sales career. You will research new leads, engage prospects by phone and email, collaborate with internal teams to tailor brokerage solutions, and use Salesforce to build prospect lists and track results.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• On-site position in Ames, IA; no remote work available.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Operations, Management, Supply Chain or related field; graduation 2026–2028.

Responsibilities

• Researching new leads and uncovering opportunities with prospective customers.
• Outreach via phone and email to qualified prospects.
• Collaborating with internal teams to craft brokerage solutions.
• Meet and exceed sales goals under mentorship.
• Build prospect lists using Salesforce and share results with sales leadership.
• Learn platform, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
